On October 18th, the fifth stop of the Zhejiang Mold Association’s German business tour was a visit to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in Germany. This visit was not only a deep exploration of China-Germany economic and trade cooperation but also an important opportunity for the Zhejiang mold industry to showcase its strength and seek collaboration on the world stage.
The Representative Office in Germany was established in 1986 in Frankfurt and is one of the earliest overseas institutions set up by the CCPIT, serving as an important platform for conducting trade and investment work abroad. The office aims to serve the government and enterprises, maintaining connections with relevant German government departments, business associations, and counterpart institutions, dedicated to building a cooperation platform between the CCPIT and related organizations in Germany, facilitating collaboration between enterprises from China and Germany.
The Zhejiang Mold Association delegation engaged in discussions with Mr. Hong Xiguo, the chief representative of the CCPIT Representative Office in Germany. Zhou Genxing, the executive president of the Zhejiang Mold Industry Association, introduced the main objectives of the visit and the current status of the Zhejiang mold industry, emphasizing the importance of technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and international strategies. Zhejiang mold enterprises, leveraging their advantages in precision and smart manufacturing, are actively seeking opportunities to expand into overseas markets, especially looking for collaboration in Germany, a powerhouse of manufacturing.

Mr. Hong Xiguo first welcomed the visiting Zhejiang Mold Association delegation. He then shared recent achievements of the CCPIT in promoting China-Germany economic and trade cooperation and safeguarding the legal rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. Additionally, Mr. Hong provided valuable advice to the entrepreneurs present, offering clear guidance for their future investment endeavors in Germany.

This visit not only deepened the friendship between the Zhejiang Mold Association and the CCPIT Representative Office in Germany but also provided a precious opportunity for the Zhejiang mold industry to shine on the international stage.
